Words and purpose ...

Philippians 4:8

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of respect,

whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable,

if something is excellent or praiseworthy, think about these things.

Words do not fit me ... I’m addicted to a mime.

All I seem to do ... is write some words in rhyme.

Still I have to quote these on paper that have lines.

Maybe I should not speak them until another time.

Take the words pure and noble ... a dimension far away.

Words that do not fit ... in this world of degradation

Maybe in my death ... as my filth is swept away

I will be dressed in newness through the plan of Salvation.

Purity then simply be ... Christ through me is living.

White as snow I am ... purified by Him.

Full appreciation will ... then be labeled noble

as I then am changed ... very deep within.

True and just a Way of life and only Christ can live it.

He has taken over now and is fullness in me.

I am dead and so He lives forever and forever

in the “me” I ought to be ... so completely free.

Who can resist a heart where loneliness is flourishing?

Who can resist a life ... filled with good report?

Is it you or is it me who undergirds the Author?

Who makes all things possible and Holiness affords?

Praiseworthy should our lives be ... with virtue as our clothing.

All should be filled ... to live Glory to His name.

To recognize the difference between living and existing

and so to be grateful ... for the removal of our shame.
