Words Ablaze

Mon, 02/29/2016 - 13:03 -- Uz_zie

It was dry now.

No rain was coming down. I was sitting in a small room with no ceiling.

My knees were to my chest, and I was looking down at the damp sand. I've never spoke a word since the day I got here.

I could not find my voice.

I tried to scream,

I tried to speak,

I tried to remember any words that came to mind, and I remembered.

I remembered the word fire, I remembered the word destruction, and I remembered the word chaos.

And I screamed.

FIRE!

I sensed it, the fire coming ablaze.

The walls were burning  all around me, however nothing was falling apart, I was still trapped.

Destruction. Chaos. That was all I could think of.

The energy grew within me, boiling to a triumphant scream.

DESTRUCTION!

CHAOS!

I could stand up now. The strength came almost instantly.

The walls were falling, consumed in fire.

Everything was ablaze, and everything was destroyed and I was free.

I had the power, and I was free!
