Words

Location

Words were there for me when no breathing being was

They filled me up and I spat them out on loose-leaf paper

They were my friend, my mentor, my lover

They covered the chasm in my barely beating heart

And occupied my mind

Stealing away the endless thoughts and compulsions

Leaving fervent hope that my life may now begin
