Words

They live inside my mind
take shelter in all its corners
weave themselves in my veins
and race each other to my mouth
dodging the filters of my teeth
they slide down my tongue
and tumbled past each other
parting my lips and slipping out
they dance through the air
spinning round and round
leaping into the ears of another
crawling through dark tunnels
to reach their brain
and share secrets with the words
that hide in the corners
of that persons brain
they connect with each other
and bring us both to life
