A Word of Safety

What is more precious than

silver, rubies?

That holds more power in an empty soul

than a river of gold

Leaverage of coverage a sort of security

Why must we forget, when things go amiss

the beauty that comes with the smell, touch and hold

Of sounds that warmed an aching heart

But seems lost when a part

And yet a simple four letter word when spoken

Carries with it a thousand words that could not be broken

What it feels to be there in the free air

To hear her soft words

And his hard work

Could never compare

To a world out there

Detached the heart is left behind

Leaving in blind

The soul is twined

To keep on going
