Wonderland - Home
You've given me a place to call home.
Somewhere I can run free, be my own.
Wonderland - I live in you.
I create your depths with my fingertips
Know your corners because I placed them there.
My tongue and heart spoke you into being.
You have created me.
You have seen my depths and my corners.
I gave them to you, willingly, in hopes that someone could understand.
When I felt as if there were no ears to listen, you gave me a shoulder to cry on.
My ideas, my wonders, they were no longer invalid.
My heart and my hurt had a home of their own where they could live and run wild and be what they are.
To some, you may be just words but, to me, you are my home.
My place to belong.
My wonderland to live in.
You are my poetry.
And you've given me life when my last breath was all I wanted to take.
