(This poem was based off of the 1960s time frame & what still remains for women today. It shows my emotion towards women's rights. Not at all trying to be against men)

An image where women are expected to be seen as a
Gorgeous, Flawless
Little being

It’s the media's ideal image of what women should be
An ideal image such as this does not create multiple women full of bliss
It only highers the beauty standards and lowers respect for people such as a single mother who doesn’t look fit

It’s time for women to individually speak up for what they believe
WE WANT LIBERATION
And we deserve to be seen as the strong independent women we are

I want to work in a place where I don’t feel like I’m behind bars
I want for these scars that women carry
Scars that make us feel burdened when we are too heavy
Or when there are Limits that makes us lower our voice
Dividing the sexes so women can’t make their own choice
I want these scars and limits to disappear

Because our countries and cities will come to terms
That those burdens have weighed down women for so many years

We have tried using makeup to hide our oppression
It seems as time progresses our rights are still less than men's

Let’s see how men will act when women start to rebel
Maybe they will understand our dilemmas
When we bring upon hell
