Wolves
The fire comes down and it opens my lungs up
To the sky that never wanted to be free
But the clouds run over my bloodstream
Straight through my heart
And out throught my eyes and I can see
That my toungue speaks the curse that makes me unclean
But if this is prison, I don't want to be free
Grace your mouth over my skin and bring me down 'till I can breathe
A dark horse faith beautifully envelops me.
If I'm a beast, a burden
Take me to my grave so I can see
The funeral of my humanity and pass over me.
I'll bathe in my own blood so you can pass over me.
You are the wolves
I am the prey
But I can play your game.
