Without fail- the sun rises

As it reaches out from under the blanket of darkness-

Death, doubt, demise-

 It encompasses the feeling of gloom

I hypnotizes the night

And transforms the shadows into a trance of beams of light

It is light

It gives life

It is the spark that ignites from a smile

It is the feeling of peace as you step out into the obscurity of the night

Knowing that the light will always come

And despite the thick, overpowering blackness,

The deep nothingness into which we stare,

The heavy intensity of disbelief,

The night will never overbear

The sun always overcomes and rises
