College is a beautiful thing.

Without it, I'd probably be in a sling

or a slum,

hanging out with some bum.

College is great for the brain.

Without it, I would be in everlasting pain.

Stuck here, but I want to be there,

College can take me anywhere.

I strive for success,

but I'm here in this financial mess.

This will all pay off in time,

but for now I shall finish this rhyme.
