I never thought having your own opinions about life could be thought of by others as a bad thing. That was until athiest, vegetarian, and gay marriage supporter became very important defining factors that describe me, and the way I feel about the world.

People tell me I'm simply wrong...with no reason or explanation, just simply wrong about all of it.

That doesnt hurt me. But when someone says "I feel bad for you"...that hurts.

I wish we lived in a world where spreading as much love as you possibly can was everyone's first priority.

Yet, if I were to wear my opinions on my sleeve I may be criticized, bullied, even beaten, simply for the views I have about this big confusing place we all reside on.

I wish the religious views I had didn't come between the love of a mother and daughter.

I wish my vegetarian lifestyle wasn't accompanied by so much negativity and mockery.

I wish people saw the word "gay" as just that, a word, just like "that' or "lamp". Just a word accompanied by a meaning. Lamp- an instrument that gives light. Gay- to love another person.

I wish I didn't have to wonder at night how many animals were abused in this world today...12? 256? 12,900? The number should be zero yet it's higher than all three.

We live in a world where freedom of expression and speech are encouraged...but only if they are the right expressions and the most unorigional speech.

I want for everyone to just take a second to slow down and look at what has become of society. We slaughter animals for sport, criticize the way strangers connect with the earth and beyond, we don't allow for love to grow, and we disable our children from exploring their own minds and opinions.

This world is beauty and wonder and love, but some of us have forgotten how to let it become you and how to become one with it.

These little things we spend half our lives worrying about are nothing. Just nothing...

I wish I could give my love to everyone on the earth so they could understand how it feels.

I hope to spread love, be love, and give love as sacrificially as possible because that is what the world does for me.

As sure as the sun will rise tomorrow I know there is a better future ahead and if in my time here in this great big world I can help someone to see all of the love that is offered, I will be satisfied.
