Winding Road

Screams shatter my ears.
Down the winding road I go;
Visualizing all of my fears.

A steady pace is what I seek.
One void of rocky cliffs and violent storms.
A chance to find solace at its peak.

No solace and no silence.
Storms full of conflict and pain arise.
As I stand, I see I need no guidance.
I seek peace, but find violence as my prize.
