In The Wind

Wed, 11/05/2014 - 07:26 -- BRANKO

In the wind,

in the wind the bird

would fly.

Her subtle eyes

would make me cry.

In the wind,

in the wind she

would thrive,

she feels alive

before the sun arrives.

In the wind,

I hold my eyes.

I keep the tears inside

but the pain I can't hide.

How I wish I could fly,

like the bird in the sky.

She spreads her wings,

and in the wind,

she survives 'till spring.

I can't hide my sobbing eyes,

how I wish I could fly,

like the bird in the sky.

Maybe I'd also feel alive,

maybe I'd also feel the sunshine.

Like the bird in the sky,

like my bird in the wind.
