Willingness and Sufficiency

Titus 1:15                   New English Translation

15 All is pure to those who are pure. But to those who are corrupt and unbelieving, nothing is pure, but both their minds and consciences are corrupted.

Willingness and sufficiency

God does not look at the number of the sacrifices made

The quantities of preception do not impress Him

He looks at obedience, willingness, and love to do so

A matter of faithfulness and the hunger to be like Him

Regardless of how commendable the intentions of our doing

God won’t move on our desires if the Spirit seems neglected

The revelation of the same and not walking in the Spirit

Will find us inattentive to our conscience as directed

Allow the Holy Spirit through the conscience to point out

The sins that so easily beset us throughout the day

Let the conscience probe our lives to show us the condition

And the way God sees and beholds us, for we so easily stray

Without His conformation, can we understand God’s Will?

Just because emotions seem to desire this way to go on

Is it not in such that our sin needs confrontation one by one?

So it all can be eliminated before the day has gone.
