Will You Sing Along?

A song, a song

Won't you sing along?

When the melody feels right nothing can feel wrong

Music

What a curious thing

When you hear the right tune in your ears it will ring

There's no time for sorrow when I'm lost in divine melodies

Some people have vices but I listen to remedies

I cry and I laugh

Get shivers down my spine

Still singing the same tune after countless of times

Music has structure and it lends itself to my life

When music strikes the right chord it does away with my strife

A song, a song

Won't you sing along?

When the melody feels right nothing can feel wrong

Lagwagon, The Beatles, The Strokes and much more

You'll hear all their tunes if you come 'round my door

It breaks me and makes me a million times

Far away places cascading my mind

But some are much closer

Oh I know them too well

Some so full of heartbreak, but others so far from hell

Music is pure love

It has never broken my heart

Don't disregard it as noise when I know that it's art

It has picked me up and made me better

It has made me kind, it has made me clever

But most importantly

Music made me

A song, a song

Won't you sing along?

When the melody's right, life just can't be wrong
