Wildflower

I am a wildflower. My seed was planted in the depths of tainted soil, left to prosper among a hollow meadow. As I germinate, the essence of gloom familiarizes itself, striving to stunt my growth. Though I am hidden in the shadows, limited rays of sunlight occasionally sneak into the darkness. My green, soaring stem is the base of my entirety, gripping my composure and keeping me steady- going. Interconnected to my stem are the pedals who define who I am. My pedals symbolize peace, love, and gracefulness. Bravely growing wild and free in a world plagued by conformity; I am a wildflower; free spirited and filled internally with glimmering beauty and enlightenment. I am the lotus of the heart, with love, passion, and knowledge flowing through my roots. I am a wildflower.
