Is it that everything

I did upset you?

I just not as perfect as

you wanted me to be?

I

listened to every word you said,

And did everything you told me;

not

ever stepping outside of the

lines. You told me to be a

good

girl and to always listen. I should have

questioned you more. I did not do it

enough

when I had the chance. I became

your puppet to control,

as

a puppeteer controls his dolls.

Now the world is yours,

I

but another slave to you.

I listened to your lies, but did nothing.

Am

I just going to let you pull the strings,

Or will I cut them with your own sharp tongue

?

I did.

Now you are                                                   disappointed in me,

but I have to find it in myself not care,                                              so I may stand on my own.
