Why Live?

Mon, 07/20/2015 - 15:05 -- kpet

Although life’s quite difficult,

it never is a bore.

No matter what you do, and where you go,

there’s always sometime to explore.

No two days are really ever alike.

One day you take your scooter,

and another day your bike.

Chat with your next-door neighbor,

or try a new ice-cream flavor.

Go hiking in the mountains,

or relaxing by the fountains.

You see

how everything is so magically spontaneous

and nothing ever happens to be so extraneous

that it should lead us off our path so far

that we can’t find our way back home

using the north star.

Somedays you feel like crying,

but that is all okay.

You have your favorite Netflix shows

to dry your tears away.

And before friendship seem to part away,

make sure that you cherish each and every day.

Although some days are not for reliving

and that we all should be more forgiving,

it’s important to never forget,

that each and every season,

things happen for a reason.

Because life is like a zebra,

you never really know,

when your day may lead you

a black or white stripe you go.

That really is the beauty,

in everything we do.

Whatever you decide to do,

just make sure it is you.

Living and just breathing is plenty enough,

to get you so excited that you never want to give up.

Look all around you, and notice the blooming trees.

Go outside and sing in the cooling breeze.

Take a day off, and just enjoy the sky.

Notice all the clouds and the birds that fly by.

So here it is, you see.

The plain and simple reasons

for why we all should be

excited more than ever

to enjoy our short forever.
