Why Keep Going?

When nothing seems to be okay,

and you don't want to live to see another day,

just remember this one thing:

You've come this far and are still alive,

you can go on and see the other side.

Find the light at the end of the tunnel.

Find the reason to keep going,

to keep living, to keep breathing.

Find a reason to be here,

and then be the reason someone else wants to keep going too.

Find hope for yourself, then be hope for others,

because they need it just as much as you.

Abandon your comfort zone.

Help a neighbor, talk with a friend or stranger,

and come out of your darkness to become a light,

just like the lights who helped you get this far.

It cannot happen overnight,

so be patient with yourself,

because you know how much you need it.

You know you're ready to crumble,

ready to fall apart.

But when you give yourself time

and treat yourself with patience,

you can blossom

and then help others blossom too.

Why keep going?

Because someone needs you to help them fight their battles,

just as you need someone to help you fight yours.

Why keep going?

Because if we don't keep going together,

we'll all fall apart alone.
