Why I write

Location

Being the middle kid is never easy,

Getting overlooked by parents too easy,

Friends say you aint as fun as your older brother,

Or you aint as cute as your younger sister,

When strangers ask they say hey Mister,

Then approach my brother like the prime minister,

Point is from birth I’ve been underrated,

Worked my butt off just to get elevated,

While my people give my siblings gold spoons,

I know the saying hold the balloons,

But silver for them would sound too simple,

In their eyes they’re smooth skin and I’m the pimple,

So I jot my feelings down in words despite

What others think and that’s why I write.
