Why I Write

Here’s to another day where I am seen but invisible                                                              Where I cloak myself in the shadows like one of the Deathly Hallows                                    Alone and miserable                                                                                                                  But in the alcove above the house is where my mind can mellow                                      Without having to worry about what makes everyone else in my life feel bright and amiable Deepest thoughts that concern and take over my soul come pouring out destroying my halo The perfect outside wall can be torn apart and the world can see that I’m really no angel.      Just another sinner waiting for forgiveness as I let my sins away, billowed                        Writing opens the dark secrets from my lips into the deep spring of April                                  All I need is a pen, paper, and a keyboard free lanced writing with no rehearsal                      To open my emotions into a new sense and I begin creating my own chateau                             I fill it with my new hopes and dreams because I know that I don’t have to be careful.            This castle is my safe place, writing is my passage through.
