Why Do I Love You?

Long have I loved your warm embrace,

Your calm mind, and gentle pace.

The time we spend side by side,

Days spent watching the rolling tide.

The quiet moments and gentle smiles,

These bits of happiness spread on for miles.

I cherish the nights spent watching the stars,

Knowing this happiness is solely ours.

And so you ask why I love you so,

But that is an answer you already know.
