Why are we drowning when we were born to fly?

Location

Some people believe the human race originated from a God creating life,

or other animals such as monkeys,

or when the earth was created humans just happened.

But I believe the human race came from a place in the in-between of conscious thought and physical existence, where they could fly and do things unimaginable by the minds of humans today.

They flew with wings more magical than the depictions of angel wings in modern day stories.

They thought with thoughts so powerful that they could conjure objects into existence.

They were merry and worry-free.

They were much different than humans today.

Humans today.

You ask, "Then how have humans become so different than this theoretical human race?"

I say, "Muscles that are not used will eventually cease to exist."

For millennia we have not used our wings because we were so engulfed with not drowning.

We built walls and dams and buildings, only for them to be obstacles blocking our paths.

We became creations that create, if not only creating our downfall.

We have been consumed by these material creations and are no longer able to fly, becuase we broke them, we stopped using them, we weighed down our wings so they were no longer a "barrier" to progress into the humans we are today.

The humans we are today.

What have we become, today?

Why are we like this, today?

Why do we weep becuase we are drowning and then look down upon the homeless man with disgust and revulsion just becuase he does not have a penny to his name, today?

Today, we will drown.

But today, that homeless man will fly.
