Why are we all robots?

One smile.
Frozen in place.
I didn't know there were others.

Walking along the hallways.
With their cliques.
Talking about everything and nothing.

I didn't know we were apart of that system.
You know the one?
That says: okay everyone pretend to have it all together.

If I were to build a machine,
that made everyone act like themselves,
how long do I wait before I have to dial 911?
