Why

We are diverse in our nation
Share a common sky
Yet, discriminate and separate
Why?

We've worked so hard to build this strong nation
And end up killing off our own population.
Why?

Leaders like Martin Luther and Malcolm X
Their visions, fulfilled - but not complete.
We must set aside our arrogance and egos
To accept those of all races, backgrounds, salaries.

Racial discrimination. Against Asians, blacks, and even the man we call white.
Will long live forever. Why, why, why?

( I like this the next stanza is fine too, but why must you break your rhythm>

Racial discrimination. Against Asians, blacks, and even the man we call white.
Will long live forever

(This is personal frustrations, racial discrimination WILL NOT last forever!)
However you certainly got the right poetry set up, my suggestion is to write more addresing your question. Why do you think this came to be a problem?

Poetry is great tool to use to get somewhere to a conclusion, but here you just run in a circle, I am clear on what is your purpose for this poem. Which is the big Q in essays right? so what?

Best of luck, a fellow writer,
Eunoia
