To whom has stolen a piece of me

Dear, …

I have been missing you, for the longest of times

A missing piece to my puzzle

I’ve hoped one day you’d return, you’d come back to my heart

I have been crying for endless eternities and yet when I think of how your smile will curve like the moon on its crescent;I light up

I miss you

I miss the way you’d hug me, you tickle me, you’d love me

But when I think of those great times, I can’t help but wonder why they ended

Why they disappeared from my memories and why i only see you in the stars

You kept me on my toes, learning new facts and reading new literature

You showed me new shows and new films

You read me poetry and showed me the best of the best when it came to music

I can still hear your heart beating to “our” song

Oh, but when I hear “our” song I can’t help but have my heart beat the same way

As if we are in tune with our love again

Our love

Oh, our love

A light shines through my window at night,

Its the moon in its purest form

And my love for you will always be pure

You may never see this, you may never even try to look back

You may have had removed me from your life and memories completely

But my heart was pure when I met you

And I will never forget those nights and mornings waking up to your eyes looking at me

I will never forget hiding under the sheets as you tried to kiss me all over

I will never forget my purest form of love with you

Its all for you.

Always, yours
