Wholeheartedly / Abu Karim

I love Bangladesh wholeheartedly.

Every molecule and atom of the expansion of

green leaves out of the sharp touch of torrential

pour in the month of Shrabon of Bangladesh

stir me to the core of my heart.

My life also becomes drenched with ceaseless pours.

I become soaked, every pore of my skin gets drenched

with the downpour of Bangla. Branches make rattling

sounds while squeezing against one another; sometimes

they break down. My heart today possesses

a bloody image of my country.

With my whole body, whole heart and with all

pronounced sentences I love

this rainy season, this dark soil, this dark an gray water,

these muddy rivers, this frantic downpour .
