I am a young woman, with the will of man

I have courage and I have spunk

No one can stop me, I am in too much

I share ideas, I share my feelings

I show the world that it can’t kill me

When you think of me, what do you see?

I see a proud black woman

With her head held high

I see a tough young woman

With the her eyes on the prize

As I smile from ear to ear

Like the Cheshire cat

I know to where I am headed
