Honestly, I am me.

Many words have been used to decribe who I am;

Dancer. Cheerleader. Student. Daughter.

Some of the common ones.

But not the only ones I have heard.

Everyone has their own opinion on others, but not all are positive;

Ugly. Stupid. Fat.

No one deserves to be called these.

But many have, myself included.

We use filters to change the way others see us.

We cover our true selves to fit this profile of who we should be.

When is enough, enough?

There are many words I can use to describe myself without those filters.

But mostly, I am beautiful.

I am confident. I am strong. I am kind-hearted.

Being able to find the good in me is half the fun;

The other half is showing the bullies they can't rule my life.

People may be able to knock me down,

But i will always stand back up.

Behind this idea of my "cover up",

I am who I am...

I am me.

Nothing could make me happier and I will always #lovemyself
