Who Am I?
Who am I?
I am me.
I do what you do,
I see what you see.
I'm just the mom with spit up in her hair,
Who puts on her makeup before she goes anywhere.
I dress up my baby from head to toe,
Just to impress people I don’t even know.
I'm a quiet mom, at least that’s what you see,
But inside my head I'm much more lively.
If only you could see the real me,
That’s the person I want to be.
You see the mom who's got it all figured out,
Even though I'm just the mom with a lot of doubt.
I'm not that mom you see online;
My house is a mess and I'm never on time.
But my son is happy and there's a roof over his head.
He gets plenty of food and a nice warm bed.
Who am I? I am a mom and wife.
So It doesn't matter what people think, because that’s my life.
