Who am I? I'm just a shadow of a shadow.

I'm the weed in the ground; the unwanted.

I'm prophesized to become dirt, no matter how nurtured.

No rose wants to grow with me.

I'm a rejected misfit trying to find my purpose in life.

Nothing comes my way and I'm patiently waiting.

My life's a joke; my voice always chokes when I speak.

I am silenced by the crowd because my words mean nothing

My hard-work is unappreciated, my sacrifices are not worth mentioning.

I don't have daylight in my life, I have black holes.

I want someone to hold me by the hand and tell me I'm worth it.
