Whited

Acts 23:3

Then Paul said to him, “God will strike you, you whitewashed wall! For you sit to judge me according to the law, and do you command me to be struck contrary to the law?”

 Whited

Moments of perfection do not last too long

It takes only on a blot to pollute a “whited” wall

Like a beautiful reflection of a lovely song

That suddenly seems to stop like an unexpected fall

Serenity a carpet that moves through the air

Propelled by simple dreams of perplexion

Reality will dart it and bring it back here

And classify it quickly as an illusion

“Peace on earth –Goodwill to man” … offensive to the mind

The center of attention can’t put up with that

Never learned much from now and then … choosing to be blind

The flesh always mentions that the other is the “brat“
