White-Hearted

.

Her heart is white

A color so pure

A color that shows she is innocent, demure

A white-hearted girl should be easy to love

She has not been tainted

Her spirit soars like a dove

Her heart is a golden lock

Surely a treasure

Its inner beauty is impossible to measure

. . .

Yet others forget that a lock needs a key

No one has entered

Her heart is empty

The white-hearted girl sits alone in her room

Spinning her life

On a lonely loom

.
