White Chrysanthemum

Location

Water from the faucet running.

An element mined from the inner and outer core of this painful existence.
Digging deeper and deeper.
Finding its way in, further away from the surface.

Water from the faucet running.

What's on the surface?
An extra layer fastened on to help divert unwanted curtsy's.
An extra layer fastened on for protection.

Water from the faucet running.

And there the weapon of choice finds the faulted line.
Purple caves running as veins.
Spilling out red secrets.

Water from the faucet running

Always giving.
Never accepting.
Until.
You.
Can't.
Give.
Anymore.

All behind closed lies and closed doors.

Until you turned the faucet off.

Body rising from the floor.
