Where is Your Flame?

Location

I wish that I could light an orange fire under your seat,

crackling flames of desire and passion.

Instead you watch on.

like of drifting cloud lost in the stratosphere,

you watch as the world plays on.

the melody keeps strumming,

where is your flame?

what happened to the innocent fire that filled childish acts,

what happened to the pizzazz that radiated from every step.

I can’t quite figure you out.

you are a creature at the bottom of the mariana trench.

stiffened by the pressure to evolve, to survive.

swim up.
remove yourself from the blackened depths,

swim towards the light,

find your flame.

you are so much more than who you pretend to be.
