Where You Found Me

Can you hear that?

That's me sniffling

Can you see them?

The Tears as they run down my cheek

I can taste it.. the salty water before it hits my shirt

I can hear the worry and the movement of your feel

I can feel it... the sharp pain as it runs down my back

No I'm not hurt...I'm fine

I know your no being insolent to my feelings

yet discreet seems unbelievable

so I'll stay here and finish my cry

I'm sitting here thinking how could she be so...

So impervious and think her own way

So supercilious

And leave me to feel this way

I can feel you touch my shoulder

as you try to pull me closer

and be ingenious

and try not to hurt my feelings

keep thing laconic

but still I'm petulant to you  and send you away

Hoping that's how you'll stay

Yet your intrepid and come back

your so altruistic to me

so I become belligerent

and scream

This time you're sagacious

and leave me alone and dejected

in my own little corner where you found me
