Where the World Takes You

You're in a spin,

And you don't know why.  Why is the world turning?

Out of control,

You're losing your mind. Why are my insides churning?

You're down in the dumps,

Nothing done is enough. Why am I crying and hurting?

The world is cruel,

And it doesn't love you. What are you trying to acknowledge?

...But...

There's a hope and a change,

GO FIND IT!

You have so much talent,

DON'T HIDE IT!

People surround you with loving care,

You're not going to find that just anywhere!

There's a reason you're here,

LOOK INSIDE IT!

Look inside yourself, silly!

You're the one who dances and sings!

And talks and laughs of silly things!

And you are the reason so many are grateful!

People are thankful for you! By the crateful!

So the next time your down or in the dump,

Look to your friends, they'll pull you up.

You've done it for them, they're returning the favor.

And it's all because you were their savior.
