Where it Lies

Location

Where it Lies

And here in this poem is where it lies

With hope and longing torn apart

My pain and torture shown through my demise

And then again through the breaking of heart

A sad story shall I, on you, impart

The loss of love I shall never forget.

Of this greatest loss is where I will start

In this, heart’s game of Russian roulette

In this loss of love shall I always fret

And how we came to saying our farewells

At times I wish we had never met

But then I look at our beloved seashells

And oh, how I loved his great heart so

And with those words, I shall let you go.
