Where could I be?

There in the dark space

With the fading light in the background,

My sight was failing me

What was beyond these dark quarters?

Could it be a land filled with flowers

With towers in the distance

Or could it be a night sky dotted with stars

Or was I in a castle, climbing the stairs

I could be anywhere

On an exciting adventure, saving lives, or exploring

Muffled voices from far away

Was there someone nearby?

Someone to inform me of my location?

Here in this warm, strange place

There seems to be something here,

Perhaps a sheep’s thick wool

Or someone’s soft white dress

No, it is my blanket

In which I have been hiding.
