Where Are You, My Father?

Am I not good enough for you?

To earn your mercy?

Are the hungry not good enough for you?

To earn your warmth?

Are the abused not good enough for you?

To earn your kindness?

Who is good enough for you, my Father?

We are waiting,

Waiting to receive your love for

the sacrifices we've given.

You are no longer allowed to be silent.

Answer our cries, dear Father.

We need you,

But where are you, my Father?
