Where?
Luke 23:33-34 New King James Version (NKJV)
33 And when they had come to the place called Calvary, there they crucified Him,
and the criminals, one on the right hand and the other on the left. 34 Then Jesus said,
“Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they do.”
And they divided His garments and cast lots.
Where were you? (spiritual)
Who was at the Cross while my Savior was bleeding?
Were you at the Cross when He was quietly pleading?
Stood your life before Him as His pains were screaming
the only Truth to travel … your life for your redeeming.
When my Lord is thirsting … my life in Him to follow.
My own will at the seams is bursting … showing me hollow.
So that my wants and wishes … don't fit His "will" in sorrow.
Is that when I place vinegar on a sponge to reach His lips.
And then when I draw closer to the Cross close by his feet.
Am I standing in His blood and tears when He weeps?
Is that when I realize that all He wants is to feed His sheep.
For me to love my fellowmen and help them in their need.
It seems so amazing as He was dying on that day,
That only men were gazing not understanding their decay.
"He" was forsaken by His Father and with His life He paid.
To restore me with my Father … that was the only way.
"As you do for the least of them, is like doing it for Me",
“I'll provide you with the means and the opportunity indeed.
Just show Me your intentions and I'll help you to feed
my children, who are dazed and lost on the lonely streets”.
Think about the men who took My body of the Cross.
They stepped in the water and the blood thinking all was lost.
They trampled on that part of Me, that in the universe as a whole.
is the only part that is full of Life … forever ever more.
I've shown you clear, there is no excuse, graves opened when I died.
Saints came forth and testified … about God and all His might.
About God's love, about God's care, about God's loving arms
He went all the way for you and me to provide a soothing balm.
So from now on show in your life appreciation for what I do.
I'll give you every thing you need to live My earnest Truth.
I know you will falter now and then … just obey your best I ask.
For through My Love, Grace, and Care I'll prepare you for the task.
