When I was 14

When I was 14, I already knew I wanted to be an Astronomer.

When I was 14, I already had gone through heartbreaks.

When I was 14, I decided to leave boys behind and

focus on my upcoming regents.

But as I turn 15, I am becoming more of a woman

I'm learning that boys should come into your life to make it

better, not to tear it apart.

As I still am 14, I'm learning that being social is not all to life.

Talking to many boys is not entertaining.

And having the desire to be with someone is only a distraction.

I get asked if I’ve kissed a boy and I say yes.

They’ve asked if I’ve tongued down a boy and I say no.

They say I'm still a little girl because I haven't.

Truth is that it's better to wait to kiss a boy who you know won't leave you easily

Than kiss a boy that after that kiss will go to another.

Girls nowadays don't seem to understand the meaning of a kiss, a hug, emotions.

They ask boys to stop being with other girls but they keep talking to other boys.

As I turn 15, I would like to experience being with that boy that is

Perfectly made for me and not fit for every girl he sees.

I would like to be with someone who is with me

To help me grow and make himself grow into a man
