when i grew up

No one actually cares

It wasn't until my 16th birthday

I realized that no one cares about birthdays

No one truly cares about your accomplishments

No one cares if you passed that math final

No one cares if you went to the Bahamas for spring break

People only care about themselves

That's it

So it is imperative

That you care

You must care in order to feel alive

You must care in order to feel proud

You must care in order to feel your worth

You must care, because no one else does
