When the Clock Stops Ticking

Location

What will we see?

When the clock stops ticking

Will birds still sing and live on the tallest trees?

Will life around still move foward?

When the clock stops ticking

"Time is cruel,"

"Time is our enemy,"

We waste time, we take time for granted

We let time get the best of us

We blame time, when we should be thanking

time

We are able to witness day and night

To live another day, all thanks to time

It takes time to grow, time to live

Time gives us what we need

To be us

So when the clock stops ticking

don't shake your fist at time

takes its hand and shake it

"Thank you, Time, for all the time you gave me,"

When the clock stops ticking

It's our time
