When Autumn Came

Fri, 12/30/2016 - 20:24 -- jmcma18

When autumn came so did the problems.

As the dead leaves loosen from the autumn branches so did I.

Wondering why I cry,

While everyone around me blossoms.

To once standing as green as a pure leaf in spring,

To becoming a black broken stalk.

Wishing to go back to the play ground swings,

While looking at my hands full of chalk

So many losses,

Should I be cautions?

When autumn came again so did the faith;

No longer afraid.

Walking in the holy place I hear clarity.

The voices of angles call upon my name,

I finally found my therapy.

This version of myself will remain.

                                     When Autumn came so did I.
