When All That's Left Is War

Location

When all that's left is war

All the wars of our miseries

When all we know we want no more

of this confusing mystery

Finding yourself involved

in an abyss of death and loss

The memories now dissolved

Like people without homes

They stare into the unresolved

Problems of eternity

The people of war that's left

Without liberty and equality

Lying in trenches and bereft

No longer there and all that's left is war

When all we have left is war

All the wars of our history

When all we know we want no more

Of this confusing mystery

Finding yourself involved

In an Abyss of death and loss

You're waiting for a new dawn

But below you, you hear the moans

Of people dying at your feet

You suddenly come back to reality

That someday that'll be you too

You find yourself in a triviality

And soon you will all see

 That all that's left

Is war..
