Every five years I have to vote
When will it count
How?
And my voice should be heard
My leader should be sworn in
When shall it come to pass.

When will we stop complaining
Blame games from Président to MCA
The vote was rigged
Their was stuffing of ballots
Or I think deep state had a hand.

When will we stop electoral injustices
Divisive politics and tactics
Election violence and riots.
When?
When will we stop looting?
Killing based on tribes.

When will elections be free?
Fair and not subjective
Who will change our motive
Educate our people on oneness
Self love and sharing.

When will I stop caring
About my ethnicity and religion
When?
Will I apply for a job and get it
When will education truly become free
And key to life and success
When will my country finish the name corruption.
When will the corrupt and Cartels be prosecuted.

When will I claim to be patriotic?
When democracy is just a D - word.
Its only police brutality and use of force
That applies to the people
Making some to become crippled.

When will I say, thank you
Mr president you did a great job.
When will our youth get employed
If their children abroad also are jobless
When will everything become normal?
I'll have to wait for that time
When I'll speak to everyone in my national language.
When will the government care about unemployment
And when can my mom get good treatment.
