What's Next?

One thing that I'll never know

Is where on Earth I'm meant to go.

People always have these dreams

Of what they'll do. Of who they'll be.

But I'm not like those who know.

I've pictured myself in many places,

Seeing different jobs and different faces.

Nothing yet has seemed to fit

Into my life's goal. Not even one bit.

It feels like I have lost all traces.

Already in college, yet so unsure

Of what I'll need to help me more.

All my troubles from the past

Have reappeared. I never asked.

I try to think I'm more mature.

Yet soon the light will shine on me

And let me see who I can be.

A positive influence with hope,

Joy, and peace. I must scope

The world from sea to sea.

Gaining knowledge through skills and text

I can learn from all respects

Of who I look up to.

One day, it may be you.

Only then will I know What's Next.
