If I could change a couple things,

It would be the sadness this world brings.

There are too many harsh words said, 

And too many innocent people dead. 

Every minute another life ends, 

And disintegrates a bond of friends.

No matter what the sun will rise everyday,

It doesn’t matter what we do or say.

The world goes on with or without 

Our questions and our doubt.

Some people just need a kind word

And maybe then their vision won’t be blurred

By the hate that wears away their humanity

Changing the world might take a while,

But you can start with making one person smile.
