What we could be

Standing at attention

Our eyes filled with pride

Air filled with suspension

Drum majors salute side by side.

The first step, all as one

To begin our show

We won’t stop until it’s done

Marching from heel to toe.

The work we’ve put in

On the field and off

Determined to win

Ever since fall kickoff.

Flute angles perfect

Horns pointed to the crowd

Drumline keeping the beat

Color guard moves together

Front ensemble adding special effects.

At the head of the band

The drum majors lead

With the baton in their hand

There’s nothing else we need.

As music and flags connects

We push harder and don’t whither

Through cold winds or intense heat

We still play loud and proud

Just like Mr Heid expects.

As the music begins to float off

Our seriousness becomes a sly grin

With a flick of the baton we take off

We release the energy we held within.

Within the music, feel the energy flow

With our instruments shining in the sun

Alas, It is almost time we now know

Time for our amazing show to be done.

We walk off the field led by Heid
Feeling relieved with no tension

We may not be known worldwide

But today we had everyone’s attention.
